Since I returned from our annual kick-off in Gdansk earlier this month, I have found myself reflecting on the experience and what it meant to not just me, but our entire team. It truly was a momentous occasion, one filled with warmth, laughter, and the joy of connecting and reconnecting with each other in person.
Due to our substantial growth over the past two years, for many of our team, it was the first time meeting face-to-face, while for others, it was a long-awaited reunion after what felt like an eternity of remote collaboration. Regardless of the circumstances, the energy and enthusiasm in the room were palpable as we came together to catch up, share stories, and dive into stimulating roundtable discussions, shaping our strategies for the year ahead.
What struck me most during our time together was the profound reminder of the importance of real-life connections in a remote company. While digital communication has undoubtedly been a lifeline, there’s something irreplaceable about the authenticity and depth of face-to-face interactions. It’s these moments of genuine connection that foster a sense of belonging and shared purpose within our team.
Moreover, as we basked in the warmth of our gathering, I couldn’t help but reflect on the remarkable growth of our company. From humble beginnings, our annual kick-off has blossomed into an ever-growing event, mirroring the exponential expansion of our team. With a growth rate of approximately 30% year over year, our company has evolved from a small team to a formidable force in the industry. This year, as we anticipate further growth, I couldn’t be prouder of the journey we’ve embarked on together.
In addition to our growth, I’m delighted to share that we have achieved the prestigious Great Place to Work certification, with an outstanding overall score of 95 out of 100. This accomplishment is a testament to the dedication and passion of each member of our team, and it fills me with immense pride to lead such an exceptional group of individuals.
As we look ahead to the year unfolding, I’m filled with optimism and excitement for what lies ahead. Our time together in Gdansk has not only strengthened our bonds as a team but has also ignited a collective vision for the future.
